Natural disasters have been dynamic recurring processes of geophysical anomalies for millions of years. In recent centuries they have impacted inhabited areas across the globe, dating back to early civilizations and history.  During the past decade, the United States has been impacted by destructive forces by disasters, ranging from earthquakes and mudslides along the west coast regions, floods and sever storms throughout the Midwest and major hurricanes around the gulf coast and east coast regions. These disasters often create severe and ongoing destruction to personal property and assets,   flooding and major water damage and displacement to cultural property and coummitys, the most vulnerable, being human life.

In order to mitigate a pro-active solution rather than reactive approach to disaster preparation, we have compiled a collective of information to better assist you in disaster preparedness and recovery processes. Articles below cover general disaster events, health, safety and procedures for the general public to use for the immediate response action. We hope that you will be better prepared to combat disaster to preserve human life and property.
